Job Description
Smart ED is an education-focused company dedicated to advancing global-standard learning in Bangladesh. As an official representative of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), I Can Read – Singapore, and several leading educational publishers from Singapore, Smart ED works to align local education with the International standard framework. The company’s primary objective is to strengthen English literacy skills across Bangladesh, serving as the foundation for academic success. Through its partnership with I Can Read Singapore, Smart ED aims to drive meaningful transformation in English and mathematics curricula, deliver high-quality professional development for teachers, and contribute to the long-term improvement of Bangladesh’s standard education system by embedding internationally benchmarked teaching and learning practices. We are looking for a Social Media Representative who will be responsible for managing the company’s social media presence, engaging with audiences, and supporting brand growth through consistent, high-quality content and communication across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, short videos).
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and competitor activity.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns and promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers) and prepare basic reports.
- Handle customer feedback and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and company values.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic knowledge of content creation, hashtags, and analytics.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools).
- Understanding of digital marketing and paid social ads.
- Experience in customer engagement or online community management.
