Job Description
What You Will Do
- Own and ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Manage and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Implement measures to streamline close cycles and enhance efficiency.
- Supervise the intercompany accounting processes, including the allocation of expenses and revenues among subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and local compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in revenue accounting and accounting close cycles and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Stay current with emerging accounting standards and industry trends. Conduct research on new accounting matters and evaluate the impact on financial reporting and proactively implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and provide financial support and commercial insight as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager in a US publicly registered company.
- 5+ years of experience
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Driven to find opportunity in a growing/changing environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar size ERP system is preferred
